iTunes Playlist showing wrong tracks & getting Zeppelin tickets
Posted by testcrunch on 13th September 2007
I seem to get a new version of iTunes every week these days and there are still bugs in it all over the place.
There’s a Top 25 Most Played playlist that is generated by iTunes itself. This playlist shows you the most often played tracks you have on iTunes, in other words the 25 tracks with the highest Play Count value. Mine currently shows a whole load of tracks that I have yet to play as I have only just ripped them. All of these unplayed tracks had Play Count values of at least seven.
I’ve been trying to register at the www.ahmettribute.com site so that I can be entered in the Led Zeppelin ticket ballot. Until this morning clicking on the link timed out. Once this morning I did manage to get that page loaded but when I then tried to load the register page that timed out. Just tried again and this time the 2nd page was loaded OK so I entered my details and clicked on submit and that timed out.
Had another go at the PC2TV client without success. I tried several radio and TV channels and nothing happens. The light momentarily comes on the wifi adapter then nothing. I clicked on the Report a problem control and was displayed an advertising page, but it did have a support email address, so sent one.
Quote of the day
‘Rock ‘n’ roll is phony and false. Sung, written and played, for the most part, by cretinous goons’ Frank Sinatra 1957 (Get off the fence Frank and tell us what you really think. Ed).
